Village of Nassau Holiday Happenings

Join your neighbors and kick off the Holiday Season on Sunday, December 3rd.  Visit from Santa at the Fire House, Rt 203, from 3pm-5pm and Holiday ornament workshop, 3:15pm-4:15pm. Tree lighting ceremony, music and bonfire at the Village Commons at 5pm and collection of new, unwrapped toys for the Nassau Resource Center. All events are offered free of charge. Refreshments will be served.

NOTICE FOR BIDS – VALATIE KILL WATER CROSSING

NOTICE

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for VALATIE KILL WATER CROSSING will be received by the VILLAGE OF NASSAU at the VILLAGE HALL until 10 o’clock A.M.., local time on November 29, 2017 and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following places:

VILLAGE OF NASSAU, 40 MALDEN STREET, NASSAU, NEW YORK 12123

AND/OR

LABERGE GROUP, 4 COMPTER DRIVE WEST, ALBANY, NEW YORK 12205

Copies may be obtained at the office of the VILLAGE CLERK upon payment of a $50.00 deposit for each set. If the Village is requested to mail the Contract Documents, there will be an additional non-refundable charge of $20.00 for postage and handling.

All qualified bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded the full deposit. All non-bidders, upon return of full Contract Documents, will be refunded one-half of the deposit.  All documents, returned for refund, must be received complete, in good condition and within thirty (30) days of the Bid Opening.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.

BIDDERS OF THIS WORK WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRESIDENT’S EXECUTIVE ORDERS #11246 AND #11375. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIDDERS AND CONTRACTORS UNDER THIS ORDER, WHICH CONCERNS NON-DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT, ARE EXPLAINED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
